You can place a bet on the roulette table either on a single number, on a range of numbers, onthe fact that the number selected by the wheel will be odd or even or on the fact that the numberselected by the wheel will be red or black. You can also place multiple bets for each game, in otherwords, you can bet that the number will even and red in one game.
In order to place your bet, all you have to do is deposit your casino chips on the number selectedor the colour or odd or even or the range of numbers you want to bet on. Once you have put downyour chips and all the other players at the table have done the same, the croupier will announce theend of the betting time by calling “no more play”. Once the announcement has been made to theplayers, the croupier will then spin the wheel and the ball and wait for the wheel to stop. He willthen announce the winning number and distribute the winnings to the players.

Spinning the Wheel

To select the winning number randomly, the croupier will spins the wheel in one direction andthen spin a ball in the opposite direction around on the wheel. The ball will spin for a while andeventually, it will lose speed and fall on one of the numbers. The croupier will then announce thewining number and distribute the winnings accordingly.

Inside Roulette Bets

Inside roulette bets are bets placed inside the board of the roulette table. Inside roulette bets are asfollow:
Straight-up bet: this is a bet on a single number. To make Straight-up bet, place your casino chips onthe square of the number you have selected. This is the famous 36-1 bet. High stake but very highreward when it lands!
Split bet: this is a bet on a set of two numbers. To make a split bet, place your casino chips on theline between two adjoining numbers on the roulette table.
Street bet: this is a bet on a set of three numbers. To make a street bet, place your casino chips onthe edge of the outside line of the numbers you want to bet on.
Square bet: this is a bet on a set of four numbers. To make a square bet, place your casino chips onthe intersection of lines between four numbers that you want to bet on.
Six line bet: this is a bet on a set of six numbers or two lines. To make a six line bet, place your casinochips on the edge of an intersection of two lines.

Inside Roulette Bets

Outside bets are roulette bets that are placed outside the numbered grid on the roulette table andcover groups of numbers. Outside bets have higher probabilities of winning than the inside ones.
Low bet (1 to 18): place your casino chips on the 1-18 square to bet that the next number selectedby the roulette wheel will be a number between 1 and 18.
High bet (19 to 36): place your casino chips on the 19-36 square to bet that the next numberselected by the roulette wheel will be a number between 19 and 36.
Red or Black bet: place your casino chips on the black square or the red square to bet that thewinning number will be red or black.
Even or Odd bet: place your casino chips on the even square or the odd square to bet that thewinning number will be even or odd.
Dozen bet: place your casino chips on one of the 3 dozen square to a bet on either the first (1-12),second (13-24), or third (25-36) group of twelve numbers.
Column bet: place your casino chips on one of the 3 column square to bet on 12 numbers on any ofthe three lines on the roulette table (like the 1st line – 1-4-7-10 through to 34).
