Biker Bandit Pleads Guilty to Casino Heist
Trying to rob a casino is a brave move. Trying to do it twice in Las Vegas and targeting the most prestigious casinos in town is beyond brave, it’s insane. But to do that and they boast about it on the internet is foolish and it looks like Anthony Carleo might be paying a high price for his bravery or foolishness. He is being prosecuted for the robbery of the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas and the Suncoast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in December 2010.
Last Day for Las Vegas Sahara Casino
Staff, managers and clients are saying goodbye to the Sahara Casino. The Sahara hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip has been the favourite of many celebrities including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and the Beatles. Yesterday, after six decades of business, the casino games tables were folded and the slot machines were unplugged as gamblers said farewell to this famous landmark.
Bellagio Biker Banding Facing New Charges
Anthony Carleo is awaiting trial for the $1.5 million Bellagio robbery. He’s just been notified that he’s now also facing charges for the Suncoast casino robbery. The so called “Biker Bandit” was re-booked Thursday on suspicion of robbing the Suncoast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Dec. 9.

In the real life court case which is unravelling at the moment in the United States, the facts only apply to the Bellagio. A man is accused of stealing $1.5 million (£950,000) in casino chips from the Bellagio resort in Las Vegas last December. Yesterday, during a brief hearing with the judge, he pleaded not guilty to the theft charges.
MGM Resorts Founder Kirk Kerkorian to Step Down From Board
MGM Resorts have announced on Thursday that Kirk Kerkorian, the billionaire founder of the group, will step down from the board of directors. In his long career, Kirk Kerkorian created one of the largest casino groups in the world. The Nevada based corporation owns the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, one of the largest casinos in the world, the world famous Bellagio and the MGM Macau (51%). The company grew by branching out into various industries and by acquiring Mirage Resorts and the Mandalay Resort Group. MGM Resorts owns multiple casinos on the Strip as well as casinos in New Jersey, Nevada, Illinois and Macau.
